How can a game developer accomplish his/her intended task successfully and confidently while using our tool?

What part of the developer journey impedes their workflow?

How can we better serve their interaction experience?

These are some of the many questions I ask myself on a daily basis when designing the UX framework and interaction ecosystem of our developer tools.
I am currently responsible for improving the game developer experience on the Xbox One Development Platform, leading the interaction design with a multi-disciplinary team of software engineers, researchers and visual designers.

We strive to set new boundaries while meeting the expectations of a minimal shippable experience.
